Awards!!!!!
At the Start of November we collectively as a team flew up to Wellington for the New Zealand Hair and Beauty Industry Awards, In which we were up for Salon of the Year. 
We had the most amazing time! Although we didn't win this year, it was the most fabulous night supporting all that is good in our industry.
The love and dedication that is put into the art of this profession is still well and truely alive.
Our team has been inspired for even bigger and better things, and we cannot wait for next year! 
Autumn has arrived...

The days are starting to get colder and the leaves are starting to turn, another season has arrived.
The colours in salon are changing as we are heading into a warmer season of colours with Auburns, Coppers, and Vibrant Reds.

 BLUNT BOBS

Blunt cuts are all in this season. They suit every face shape because it can be adjusted to flatter the face while the bluntness can help thicken up thin hair and even soften thicker hair depending on the way its styled. It does wonders for your bone structure, and is often a gateway way cut to something shorter.

Rhianna is our next rising star! 
After nearly 3 years training with the Aurum seniors and assisting Ria directly with her clients for the past year so many of you know her already - Rhianna is a skilled colourist and also cutting womens hair particularly long layered cuts and blunt long bobs - She is moving into learning more advanced cutting and restyles so keep an eye out on social for training model opportunities!
Rhianna is now taking on clients of her own and available online.
