Ria with her husband Sonna is co-owner and co-creator of Aurum and runs the Hairstylists team. She has such a passion for the industry and loves restyles and advanced colour work, but mostly just loves making people feel amazing everyday - "Being able to teach people how to do their hair at home easily is the biggest reward for me - I just love that ""aha" moment people get when they realise that hairstyling is accessible to them and it does not have to be difficult!"
Ria is blessed to absolutely love what she does and call this beautiful salon her second home and their team of girls part of their family. Sonna and Ria continue building their dream with outstanding staff by their side.
Sydney Mowat - Hairstylist
Sydney is an absolutely amazing fully qualified senior stylist who has been in the industry for 5 years now, and has  been trained and mentored by Ria - she also takes every opportunity to advance her knowledge. Sydney has worked back stage at NZ Fashion Week alongside some of the most talented artists of 2018.
She has also completed advanced cutting and colouring education and is constantly keeping up to date with the latest trends.
Sydney specialises in hair ups and styling and is also a skilled colourist which is she is very passionate about. Sydney is a very bubbly and caring stylist who always puts her clients hair condition first. Sydney has built up a very loyal client base who love her work as much as we do.
Rhianna Robinson - Hairstylists Apprentice
Rhianna is in her final  year of her working at Aurum and is in her second year of her Hairdressing Apprenticeship with us . She has a natural talent and flair for the profession and  is our next  big rising star!  This year she was asked to work for the NZ Fashion Week in Auckland. She has also travelled to Australia for advanced training with known celebrity stylist at the Sydney Hair Expo and also training at our own Nz Collective. During her time at Aurum Rhianna has worked closely with Ria assisting in advanced colour work - her knowledge and expertise has been vital for Aurum's success.
Bonna Martin - Salon Coordinator/ Make Up Artist
Bonna is a talented make up artist with over 18 years experience in the beauty industry. We are lucky to have her!
Bonna makes sure the salon runs smoothly and juggles our busy calendar for us. She is such a fun addition to our team and always making sure our clients are comfortable and happy.
Becky Greenall-Apprentice
Becky is our newest member of the salon and in the  first year of her Apprenticeship. She has come to us with passion and the desire to learn all she can in the industry. Keep an eye out for any promotions and help Becky reach her dreams.
