How do we structure our pricing?
All our services are charged by time to ensure that our stylists have the time allocated correctly we always recommend a consultation.
We as business owners endeavour to keep our pricing as affordable as possible - however our main priority is caring for the stylists who will be in turn looking after you and are the ones helping get you to your hair goals.
Any net profit at Aurum is shared with the senior team who make up our board of directors and who all get a voice in direct decision making in the business.
The amount you want to invest is of course always in your hands - If you prefer to spend your time getting the colour result but aren’t worried about a Blow-dry for example it would be the smaller package so you can control what you want time spent on or if your lighter and it’s faster to lift your blonde it’s the same - the packages are just there to give you an idea of price range.
This pricing is worked out to ensure that we can reinvest & provide the following:
We invest in a safe & clean environment to relax in knowing and trusting our sanitation procedures.
We use the highest quality hair products. We know that the quality and standard of our reputation lies in the products we use and we believe in investing in haircare brands that deliver quality in an eco friendly way.
We are trained and qualified specialists in colour chemistry and cutting - we invest in our own and teams education so that we can help you.
Our team are well compensated for their hard work and skill and we are able to invest in their education so they can keep delivering modern hair techniques and bringing it straight back to the clients in our chair.
We also pay our hard working junior staff well above training wage as we believe our whole team are responsible for delivering your service and should be paid fairly for their work.
We work very efficiently and as a team to make sure we get you through in a reasonable timeframe (often you will have 2 stylists helping with your hair)
For accurate quoting we recommend booking a consultation first but we have made our most popular packages available to be booked online.
If you are wanting a change or are new to Aurum please book a consultation and one of our stylists will be able to give you free advice and a quote for what you are wanting done.
If you are unable to come in for a consultation please email us and we can arrange a phone consultation for you. However it is better if we can see your hair in person.
Consultations are our way of making sure we understand clearly what your hair goals are, the maintenance you are able to commit to, your hair history and a give a detailed assessment of your hair type, natural level and texture which all influence how long your stylist will need to achieve your colour.
This way we tailor your colour specifically for you - there are no one size fits all services at Aurum - every colour service demands a unique approach and customised colour technique.
This puts you in control of your budget and time and our stylists in control of advising you what can be achieved for your specific situation.
We are all very aware that our appointment time and your time is valuable - we work as a team efficiently to ensure that we get you through in a manageable time frame (looking and feeling fabulous!) but at no point do we make you feel rushed. This is your chance to relax in a clean and safe environment.
Please know our integrity as a team is always our driving force. We respect your time and we will do everything we can to get the results you want while maintaining healthy hair - within the time frame of your budget.

REDO & ADJUSTMENT POLICY
We want you to love your experience with us!
If there are any issues with your hair or your experience in the salon please make contact with us via email within 7 days after your appointment and we will gladly fit you in to rectify the issue free of charge.
AURUM CANCELLATION POLICY
No cancellations or changes allowed within 48 hours of the appointment. Cancellations within 48 hours or missing your appointment will result in a fee equal to 50.00% of the booking.
To ensure the smooth operation of our salon, we kindly ask for adequate notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. For last-minute cancellations or no-shows without reasonable explanation, 50% of the service fee will be charged, as it limits our ability to offer the reserved time to other clients.
As a small business, cancellations made without sufficient notice can significantly impact our team, whose livelihoods depend on the services they provide. We value your time and ask that you kindly respect ours by notifying us as early as possible to allow us the opportunity to rebook the appointment.
